Traditionally used for warmth, storytelling and mapping Country, each skin carried stories and meaning. Babies would often begin with just a few pelts, with cloaks growing alongside them as they grew.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eToday, Possum Skin Cloaks are still created, with designs burned or painted onto the skins and stitched together using contemporary techniques, continuing cultural practice in modern ways.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eUse it with playdough, loose parts, natural materials and sensory bases for all kinds of play and activities.
