Your playdough can last 3-6 months if cared for correctly. We recommend using within the first few months of purchasing for ultimate freshness.

Keep your playdough stored in an airtight container out of direct sunlight as sunlight will discolour some colours (especially blues, purples & pinks).

It also recommended to make sure you have clean hands before playing with your dough and afterwards to prevent any bacteria getting into your dough.

If your dough dries out simply add a small amount of water and/or coconut oil (or vegetable oil - we use coconut oil) and rub it into the dough and knead.

Some folks like to store it in the fridge to help it last longer, just be mindful it will harden, but once it's warmed up it will be good to play!

All of our pre-made playdough colours are made using:

• Wheat Flour, salt, cream of tartar, coconut oil, food grade food colours, or natural Ochre.

Store your dough in an airtight container in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight.

Make sure it's free of any moisture.

I highly recommend storing in ziplock bags, I've just always found this to be the easiest and best way for playdough to last longer.

While your new playdough is made from all natural, food grade ingredients, it won't last forever. But there are ways to get the most out of your dough, and if cared for correctly, you can get up to 6 months of play!

While many children may be ready for playdough around 15-18 months, we recommend it for ages 3+ due to potential small parts. If you're thinking of introducing it to a younger child, adult supervision is key, as little ones tend to explore by putting things in their mouths (and we know babies love to taste everything!). Our playdough is taste-safe, but it’s still best to wait until they’re a bit older for safe, stress-free play.

Our playdough is made with food-grade ingredients, so while it’s not meant to be eaten, it won’t harm your child if they take a small taste. The most likely reaction will be them spitting it out (bit salty) 😝. We use food-grade colouring and dont use harmful preservatives, but if your child has any sensitivities or allergies, it’s always best to monitor closely. If any reaction occurs, we recommend discontinuing use and consulting your healthcare provider.
