- Store your pouch in a cool, dark & dry place until use.
- Once made, ensure the playdough has cooled before storing in an airtight container in a cool, dark & dry place away from direct sunlight.
Your new playdough is made from natural food grade ingredients and natural organic material. We don’t use any synthetic preservatives. This means it won’t last forever! But there are ways to get the most playtime out of your dough, and if cared for correctly, you can get up to 3-6 months of play!
Here's how to care for your dough 👇🏽
- Play on a clean surface with clean dry hands
- Always store dough in an airtight container in a cool dark & dry place after use
- Store away from direct sunlight
- The more you play, the softer it gets!
What to do if your playdough dries out 👇🏽
- Just add a few drops of water and/or oil, knead into the playdough well
If your dough is new and fresh and you see it developing a dry crust - don’t be quick to discard it! Give the dough a good knead & squish.

We use Australia Post and are posting from Shepparton (3630) in regional Victoria.
Flat rate $10.95AUD applies to all standard orders under 5kgs. Express post prices calculated by weight at checkout. For most orders under 5kgs this will be $14.95AUD.
Currently, all playdough products are made to order with a 2-3 day make time unless otherwise stated in our store banner. Your order will then be posted after this time. Choosing express post doesn't change the make time.
If your order includes a preorder product your entire order will be shipped when the preorder product is in stock.

We love Ochre, as an Early Childhood professional I love purchasing authentic products for play and engagement. The dough is super easy to make, last ages ins sealed container and to top it off the packaging goes into our compost bin!

I don't know if I can ever go back to making my own playdough. I'm a preschool teacher and I made this mix with some of the children in my class. They loved it and even they mentioned how easy it was when it came to the mixing part. Normally we stir and stir and then have the knead but this dough came together instantly! They loved the lemon myrtle and recognised the smell instantly matching it to our own lemon myrtle tree. The playdough was so soft and squishy and the children loved playing with it just as much as they did making it. Will definitely buy again as well as the other mixes.
